  12. I have recently subscribed to ╥Speaker Builder╙ Magazine.  In 
  13. this mag there is much discussion of a speaker called the 
  14. ╥Sapphire II╙, often used with a subwoofer called the ╥Sub I╙.  I 
  15. guess it is available as a kit.  It seems to be a standard against 
  16. which others are compared.

  18. My question is:  If this speaker is so great, why have I never 
  19. seen any mention of it in any other magazine or in rec.audio?  
  20. Have any rec.audio readers heard this speaker?
