- I'm one to testify that they don't always treat their customers nicely.
- Maybe just one or two salespeople, but we didn't try them that many
- times to find out.
-
- Briefly, I was in AZ and my wife in CA. She ordered a _WordFinder_
- brand electronic dictionary for my B-day. In about a weeks time
- we found its vocabulary is not large enough, and also many keys on
- it started to fail to respond. We returned the unit for money back.
- And we made it clear that's what we wanted.
-
- Well, they didn't give us our money back, but sent another unit
- (at least another box, which we didn't bother to open) to her CA
- address! And around that time she was moving out of the place,
- which is a bad time to deal with extras. She called and told them
- to pick them up quick, or else it would been left in the backyard
- for them. A UPS person came just before we were about to leave.
-
- We haven't dealt with DAK since. I ended up with a Franklin unit,
- which I'm happy with.
