  29. Artic Technologies is pleased to announce an exciting new product
  30. which we call Artic Transport.  Transport is a compact, light
  31. weight, durable external voice synthesizer that has the
  32. responsiveness you have come to expect from our speech
  33. products.

  35. Transport uses VEST, our most extensive speech rule set which
  36. provides you with the same accuracy as those customers who use
  37. Artic Vision and Artic Business Vision.  VEST is stored in ROM
  38. which will free up memory for your application programs.

  40. Transport's batteries are rechargeable and may be recharged while
  41. running from an A C outlet.  You can expect many hours of use
  42. between charges.

  44. Transport connects to your computer via a serial port and is
  45. designed to run on an I B M or compatible desk top or lap top
  46. computer.

  48. A prototype of Transport was demonstrated at the recent summer
