  18. I must advise all that it is very important to have adequate supervision
  19. when playing beep ball.  I was running the games at a blind picnic
  20. locally a few years ago and was standing to the right of the batter,
  21. along with a few who were legally blind.  As the batter swung, the young
  22. adult closest to me stepped forward after the ball was hit, excited
  23. about being next at bat.  But the batter took a full circular swing with
  24. both bat and body, and the bat caught this person smack in the face,
  25. across the nose, and did it bleed.  We would have him calmed down long
  26. enough for the bleeding to ease when he would get excited again and
  27. start it up again.  He had no further problems but it ruined my day and
  28. I have never supervised that game again.  The prime problem was too few
  29. sighted trying to do too much.  Learn from my mistake.  TTYL
