  24. Latest news re: earthquake in Nicaragua reports that the
  25. magnitude of the quake was 7.2 on the Richter scale.  It affected
  26. an area of 250 km from Puerto Corinto to San Juan del Sur. In
  27. total 37 communities have been affected, 1,500 people injured. 
  28. 120 people are confirmed dead, and a further 180 are missing,
  29. most of them children.  753 homes were destroyed.
