- I have not been keeping up on the newsgroup. Could someone
- tell me if FSF has changed their position on apple. There are

- to subvert apple's position than to port all of GNU software to
- the macintosh. Will FSF ever let macintosh users in from the cold?
- I use many of GNU's applications on unix machines at work, and i

- I also am a little curious about FSF's position on Macintosh ports. OK,
- Apple sued some people, and maybe that's not so good. But what differentiates
- USL's suit against UC Berkeley (BTW, even though I may be a grad student
- at UCB, I have/had nothing to do with BSD Unix (or whatever you want to call
- it), I'm just a disinterested bystander) from Apple's suits? Shouldn't the
- FSF stop supporting >ALL< System V ports of their programs and remove them
- from the "official" gnu archives? For example, should the FSF not consider
- Solaris 2.0 support for any programs because Sun abandoned BSD for SVR4?
-
- Or is the FSF position on Apple perhaps less rational?
