  11. The output of pstat -s on one of our DECsystem 5500 looks like this:

  14. 228416k swap configured
  15. 122016k reserved virtual address space
  16.         272k used (160k text, 0k smem)
  17.         132840k free, 0k wasted, 95304k missing
  18. avail: 4151*32k 8*1k

  20. The manual says that the 95304k missing is due to fragmentation of the
  21. swap partition. Shouldn't that be recovered in a reboot? It doesn't
  22. do that for me. How do I get it back?

  24. I have no problems with this, at least no problems I can see. But I don't
  25. like when thing are missing when they shouldn't.
