- The output of pstat -s on one of our DECsystem 5500 looks like this:
-
- % pstat -s
- 228416k swap configured
- 122016k reserved virtual address space
- 272k used (160k text, 0k smem)
- 132840k free, 0k wasted, 95304k missing
- avail: 4151*32k 8*1k
-
- The manual says that the 95304k missing is due to fragmentation of the
- swap partition. Shouldn't that be recovered in a reboot? It doesn't
- do that for me. How do I get it back?
-
- I have no problems with this, at least no problems I can see. But I don't
- like when thing are missing when they shouldn't.
-
- Anyone that feels like me? Anyone that knows about this?
- Thanks in advance.
