  14. On various DECstations around here, sometimes when I hit esc to 
  15. recall a previous command (I use DEC's csh) I just get a little
  16. escape symbol ^[ and then the connection is hung. Dead. Caput.

  18. I'm trying to guess this is a race condition/line speed kind of thing, and 
  19. not me doing something brain-dead... but whatever it is, I wish I knew how to 
  20. fix it!
