  23. When I bought my Stealth VRAM (which is for sale, BTW ;) ) there was
  24. no reason for me to think it wouldn't be supported by more than a half
  25. a dozen (or so) apps.  I had no idea Diamond would be so paranoid
  26. about their products.  The board was very well rated by BYTE (the
  27. fastest S3 board, I believe) and that all I had to go on.  Their
  28. Speedstar Plus was also held in high regard.

  30. Since I was buying a whole system at the time, I didn't have a chance
  31. to wait and see how things turned out.  There was no indication at the
  32. time that I needed to anyway.

  34. On my most recent contract I was programming for an Orchid ProDesigner
  35. IIs.  Orchid was thrilled to death to send me docs.  That's why the
  36. board I bought to replace my Stealth is a ProDesigner IIs.  A good
  37. card with good support.
