- I have set up a few UUCP connections on my SCO Unix system. This system
- is acting as a UUCP gateway for the Network. When connecting to aother
- system, I occasionally get problems during uucico transfers. Midway,
- uucico hags with the status screen showing:
-
- alarm 1
- alarm 2
- alarm 3
- etc
-
- Does this happen with speeds >2400bps and not with 2400bps ?
- If yes, you have the same problem that I had: You loose incoming
- characters.
-
- You have to find the reason for the character losses or use
- Taylor-uucp. Taylor-uucp worked for me even with character losses.
