- THANK GOD! I prefer to have a choice.
- I run VP/ix under ESIX 4.04a. VP/ix allows me to add IEM's (Installable Emulation
- Devices) which can be used from Unix or VP/ix. DOS Merge only allows Direct Device
- Attachment (DDA). I wrote an IEM for a midi device driver so I can access the midi
- port from Unix or run my favorite DOS based midi applications.
-
- I think ESIX is great. It meets my needs affordably and allows for a flexibility in
- configuration that I find most satisfactory.
-
- There I feel much better now. :-)
