- I received no response from sci.crypt, oh well... so here goes:
-
- Someone recently posted a small program to comp.unix.wizards
- which would produce 'pronounceable' passwords 'randomly'.
-
- As it turns out, the algorithm is such that it could be
- vulnerable to attacks.
-
- I didn't see that the passwords were _that_ pronoucneable, but
- hey... that's just a matter of personal opinion :)
-
- I'm seeking a program that would accomplish the generation of random,
- pronouncable passwords that would be done in a 'secure' fashion. The
- passwords should genuinely be random and not vulnerable to some
- reverse attack. I ultimately would like to hack this into our
- password command to assist with account creation, etc.
-
- If someone has something that meets these specifications, or knows
- where to obtain such (or perhaps someone to ask, even), kindly
- let me know.
-
- Thank you.
