- Same problem over here. No RS6000 or AIX in sight, but mail partition NFS-mounted
- by three clients. The problem appeared yesterday using ELM and was irreproducible.

- One of our systems people traced it to "opening an existing file with CREAT flag"
- but it may be constructor-dependent.
