- 1) There must be a line containing the word 'end' (and nothing else !)
- at the end of the uuencoded file.

- 2) If a line starts with 'M', there have to be 60 characters on the line.
- And yes, spaces at the end count. (Common problem when files are
- transmitted over NJE lines (EARN)).

- Suggestion : try to uuencode one of your files and compare the 'head' and
- the 'tail' against the files that cause problems.
