  12. Ok I am trying to install 386BSD using the dist.fs disk..finally got a copy that
  13. would boot.  Now in the install notes it says:

  15.     Note, if the system does not find the ethernet card in the bootstrap
  16.     manifest, this will not work.
  17.  
  18. Well I did not see any mention of my ethernet card when it booted, just my 
  19. com1, and console and floppy.  I have a western Digital ethernet card I believe
  20. the model is WD803 or wd003 (something like that).  Anyone got any suggestions?

  24. PS also for the FTP stuff it says to enter :
  25.     ifconfig <enet device> ....  I am assuming the enet device would be located
  26.     in /dev/whatever if my ethernet card was detected.
