  27. In fact, from what I know the version of getty under 2.0.1 was _also_
  28. uugetty, but the "support" section of UUCP was so broken as to make
  29. it unusable.

  31. Under 3.0, this is all mucho better. Just recall that (uu)getty depends
  32. on a lock file being created when outgoing calls are using the port. So
  33. if you use a Mac comm. program, you'll need to create a wrapper around it
  34. that creates the lock file and then launches the program. Phillip Porch
  35. has e-mail me such a wrapper and I can make it avail. by anon-ftp.
