- In fact, from what I know the version of getty under 2.0.1 was _also_
- uugetty, but the "support" section of UUCP was so broken as to make
- it unusable.

- Under 3.0, this is all mucho better. Just recall that (uu)getty depends
- on a lock file being created when outgoing calls are using the port. So
- if you use a Mac comm. program, you'll need to create a wrapper around it
- that creates the lock file and then launches the program. Phillip Porch
- has e-mail me such a wrapper and I can make it avail. by anon-ftp.
