  11. I have just compiled gcc-2.2.2, libg++-2.2, and gdb-4.6 on my
  12. rs6000.  Everything went *very* smoothly (I was surprised) and
  13. compiled with no problem.

  15. I wrote a little hello.C using iostream.  The ececutable is over
  16. 300k!  But that is not the problem.  The problem is, whenever I
  17. try to run gdb with it (I recompiled with -g), I would load gdb
  18. okay, but when I gave the "run" command to gdb, my 220 literally
  19. "took a dump" (displayed c09 on the LCD).

  21. Has anyone seen this?  I used the standard "./configure rs6000"
  22. to configure the make files, and then I just ran "make".
