- My current understanding is that I can port anything I like, as long

-
- Yes, but now with an important proviso.
-
- I take this to mean that I can port any motif client I want, as long
- as I don't give away or sell motif.
-
- Is this the correct interpretation? Can I port any motif clients I
- want against the libraries on the RS/6000?
-
- If the client is statically bound, you can ship it with no royalty
- incurred. However, if it uses Motif release 1.2 and up, the system on
- which it will run must have been previously licensed for Motif. This is
- done by someone (possibly you) who holds a Full Distribution License and
- ships a set of binaries for use on the system, with the binary royalty
- payable.
