  10. When I try to make the xgc demo in /usr/lpp/X11/Xamples/demos, I get
  11. an (167): invalid character error during "lex lex.l". The same
  12. thing happens during the making of xrn 6.17 with "lex newsrc.l" where
  13. I get a "67: (Error) Invalid character".

  15. We are using the AIX 3.2 operating system, and I applied the bosadt
  16. 2.01 update correctly, I think. The lex executable is in /usr/ccs/bin
  17. and ls -l results: 72649 Mar 06 1992.
