  10. Here I am working on the weekend again.  Call went in to IBM on Friday,
  11. but meanwhile, anyone heard of this problem?

  13. Several diskless 220's being served from a 320 RS/6000, all AIX 3.2.2.

  15. There is a printer on the 320 server and a printer on one of the 220
  16. diskless (actually dataless).

  18. All machines can spool to the 320's printer no problem.  All machines
  19. can spool to the dataless 220's printer no problem EXCEPT the 220 that
  20. actually has the printer.  On that machine, spooling to its own printer
  21. does print, but also gives a console error message indicating 
  22. an "nfs write error 13".

  24. My initial suspicion is some kind of permission problem.  We have tightened
  25. up a little bit on IBM's standard distribution so I may have tigntened
  26. up permissions somewhere where it's not acceptable.  Before a detailed
  27. time consuming investigation, though, I would like to know if it is a
  28. known bug in AIX 2.2.2.
