- Here I am working on the weekend again. Call went in to IBM on Friday,
- but meanwhile, anyone heard of this problem?
-
- Several diskless 220's being served from a 320 RS/6000, all AIX 3.2.2.
-
- There is a printer on the 320 server and a printer on one of the 220
- diskless (actually dataless).
-
- All machines can spool to the 320's printer no problem. All machines
- can spool to the dataless 220's printer no problem EXCEPT the 220 that
- actually has the printer. On that machine, spooling to its own printer
- does print, but also gives a console error message indicating
- an "nfs write error 13".
-
- My initial suspicion is some kind of permission problem. We have tightened
- up a little bit on IBM's standard distribution so I may have tigntened
- up permissions somewhere where it's not acceptable. Before a detailed
- time consuming investigation, though, I would like to know if it is a
- known bug in AIX 2.2.2.
-
- Thanks for any help.
