- How does one read the per-process (user) table under aix on a RS-6000 ?
- Given a PID or proc table entry address, I need to retrieve the "user"
- information for a process. The proc structure doesn't seem to provide
- any pointers (no pun intended). The user.h file also doesn't shed much
- light. Is there a (relatively) easy way to fetch this info from
- /dev/[kp]mem ?
-
- Also, how does one find out memory statistics (max swap, free swap, max
- mem, free mem) ?
-
- AIX doesn't appear to follow any of the normal SYSV 3.2 (or 2.3 for that
- matter) internal conventions.
-
- Please respond by email. I don't recieve this group. If responses shed
- sufficient light, I'll post a summary.
