  10. My SPARC 1 is failing to complete the boot sequence and dropping into
  11. the command mode with a "Watchdog reset/Window UnderflowType" message.
  12. It appears that there is a hardware problem. I have a brand new system
  13. board(obtained in the spring). but I have been getting a message indicating
  14. Before the watchdog reset message began appearing, my OW sessions were
  15. being aborted because of a bad memory chip.
  16.                                I have had bad memory before but nothing
  17. like this has ever happened.  I am waiting on good memory - it takes a
  18. while get here. In the meantime, I can't use my machine at all.

  20. Could someone please explain what watchdog reset means and what window
  21. underflowtype(as the specific error message) means? I have a full
  22. set of docs for my machine but can't find it. Also, I would appreciate
  23. any hints as to what to test or what the problem could be.

  26. has a summary of those, please pass them on.
