  11. I have just bought an Exabyte 8500c tape drive and am having trouble using it.
  12. Under SunOS 4.1.1 it works fine in 8200 mode but I can't change to other modes.
  13. Under SunOS 5.0 I keep getting Data Transfer Overrun errors whenever I try
  14. to write to tape.

  16. How do I configure this drive to use the 8500c mode under SunOS 4.1.1?
  17. I want to use dump and tar to write in this mode.

  19. Any help for any configuration would be appreciated.
