- It still sounds like a problem with the cabling, even if you
- have swapped them. I'm not familiar with the ST-500 by name,
- but if it is 10 base T, look at the cable/connector on the 10BaseT
- side as well. I've seen a number of problems with similar symptoms
- caused by poor connections on that side. Similar things can happen
- with AUI, of course. While I can't categorically state that it
- isn't a hardware problem in the 4d20, it seems unlikely.
