  12. We have just installed irix 4.0.5 on our sgi's and have discovered a problem with key bindings. We also have 4DDN installed so we can communicate with our vax.

  14. When we log in to the sgi from the vax (with set host) ctrl-C remains bound by the vax and is not overwritten by stty commands (This is NOT the case if we log in to the sgi directly from the console or from a terminal server).

  16. With ctrl-C bound by the vax many features, especially emacs do not work properly.

  18. SGI have tried this and have reproduced the problem and do not know what is wrong or how to fix it (as yet)

  20. Has anyone elso noticed this and does anyone have a solution?
