- Unless you are running software programs that require the netls
- (network software licensing program), you can turn this off.

- To turn netls off, do the following:

- # /etc/chkconfig netls off
- # /etc/chkconfig llb off
- # /etc/chkconfig glb off

- as far as netls affect your attempts to change your ip address, netls
- does not have any control over that...

- turn netls off and then try again (you did not say by what means you are
- changing your ip address ie by hand in /etc/hosts or via systemanager tool)...look for error messages in console and /usr/adm/SYSLOG...this
