  15.               Worldwide PenPoint Developers Organization
  16.                                 (WPDO)
  17.  
  18. PURPOSE:   The goal of the WPDO is to serve the needs of PenPoint
  19.            developers. To this end, the WPDO sponsors monthly
  20.            meetings where developers and/or GO representatives make
  21.            technical presentations and answer YOUR questions. Other
  22.            WPDO services include a newsletter, a BBS, training
  23.            classes, distribution of developer tools and sample
  24.            programs, etc. As its name implies, the WPDO has
  25.            affiliate chapters throughout the world.  The WPDO is an
  26.            independent nonprofit organization, not a division of the
  27.            GO Corporation.

  29. MEETING AGENDA:
  30.            1.   Summary of the Developer Surveys from last meeting.
  31.  
  32.            2.   Introduction of WPDO membership services and fees
  33.                 (bring your checkbook for your charter membership
  34.                 discount!).
  35.  
  36.            3.   Announcements (from WPDO, GO and attendees).
  37.  
  38.            4.   Two (parallel) Technical Presentations:
  39.  
  40.                 a.    "User Interface Essentials for PenPoint
  41.                       Applications" presented by Tony Hoeber, GO's
  42.                       UI expert.  This talk targets the more
  43.                       experienced attendee.
  44.  
  45.                 b.    "Ask S"... a Question/Answer session hosted by
  46.                       S Page, from GO's Technical Support Dept;
  47.                       targeting the less experienced developer, or
  48.                       those who wish to find out about PenPoint.
  49.  
  50.            5.   Developer Question/Answer session followed by
  51.                 informal group discussions.
  52.

  54.            PenPoint developers, either novice or experienced...
  55.            (or those who wish to learn about the PenPoint OS).

  62.            WPDO membership services/fees will be announced, so bring

  88.            Monthly meetings are scheduled on the second Thursday of
  89.            each month.  For the remainder of 1992, these dates are
  90.            September 10th, October 8th, November 12th and December
  91.            10th.
