? Has anybody ported SCHEME to the NeXT? If so, is there an FTP site where it ? can befound? I need a version of MIT or ``Che'' Scheme. The gnuemacs version
? does not seem to be a good fit.
I had ported a garden variety MIT scheme 7.1 last year (with help from
the MIT Scheme Team). But now there is a
NeXT-version available, developed by Max Hailperin and Chris Kane at
Gustavus Adolphus College, under the Name of SCHEMATIK.
You can ftp it from ftp.gac.edu.
It runs both as an interpreter and a 68040 compiler, and a
SICP-compatible version (" MIT 6.001") is available as a loadable
band. It supports both X-graphics and Postscript graphics, ad I can
highly recommend it!
