- Because the C++ system on NeXTStep 3.0 still contains no templates (it is
- based on 1.93), I have decided to see how much interest there is to get
- someone to port the latest version of gnu gdb to NeXT (and make these changes
- available to gnu). With gdb, someone could easily build a complete, latest
- gnu development system. If you are willing to contribute money to the
- port of gdb, please send e-mail to
-
- poll@next.agsm.ucla.edu (128.97.74.50)
-
- The text should contain three items on one line: A dollar figure (including a
- "$"), followed by the word "gdb," and your e-mail address. This way, it is
- easy to grep thru the poll mailbox. I will tabulate the answers and post back.
- (Should this post also go into another usenet group?)

- PS: What is the latest version of LEDA that works with NeXTStep Rel3.0 C++ on
- NeXT, and where should I pull it from? I understand that [1] NIHcl does not
- work with g++ at all; [2] Rogue's tools ($400) will probably work with gnu
- compiler release 2.3, but do not yet work with 2.2 (and certainly not with
- 1.93).
