- The last sentance is wrong for SCSI addressing on the NeXT.

- If the user uses /dev/rsd? as the settings for CDPlayer on the NeXT, the
- program will not work. There *are* no device names on the NeXT of the form
- /dev/rsd? (not on Release 2.1, at least).

-
- The referencing of partition "h" on the device is not the cause of any
- trouble. Many people are using CDPlayer successfully despite referencing
- partition h. I don't know the particulars of how partitions are supposed to
- work on CD-ROM players & music CD's, but the CDPlayer program seems to work
- just fine with any partition you specify. I think the program comes with
- the reference to partition h, so that's the partition I've used for all the
- machines I have set this up on.
-
- I've already sent the original poster an explanation of how I set CDPlayer
- up on my machine, and that seems to have helped them to get the program
- working OK. If anyone else is having trouble with the CDPlayer application
- you can drop me a message, and I'll send a copy of that explanation. I'm
- reluctant to post the message given that Release 3.0 is supposed to come
- with a music CD application of it's own, which should make playing CD's a
- lot easier than this CDPlayer application does.
