- I believe the volume level settings work fine on 2.1 but AFTER you are
- logged in. The problem is probably that you are playing sound via
- *loginHook* script which is executed as root, not as the user who
- is loggin in. Perhaps, it might be possible to set the loginHook
- sound play level via setting in the *root*'s Prefereces.
