- I'm now the proud owner of a NeXTstation TURBO and am thinking of
- using its DSP and/or Audio port of some scientific/acousting
- applications here at our lab...
-
- 1) Is the audio input (condensor mic on front of the mono monitor
- and corresponding audio IN jack in the back) handled by the DSP
- or by another dedicated A/D converter? What is the frequency
- response of the audio input? How wide (bits) is the A/D
- converter that drives it (if applicable)?
- 2) Generally, what kind of cables/interfaces (or how do I go about
- finding out) are available for the DSP port on the NeXT?
-
- I am specifically interested in ways to interface the audio
- port and/or the DSP into some test equipment that generates analog
- signals. Anyone have experience doing this?
