- Hi,
-
- I just saw a previous article confirming that the Sun CD-ROM works on a NeXT.
- Has anyone tried a NeXT CD-ROM on a Sun? I first changed the SCSI number from
- the factory setting of 4 to 6. That got the Sun to recognize the CD-ROM drive
- at reboot time. Then I tried to mount the CD-ROM with the following command:
-
- mount -r /dev/sr0 /cdrom
-
- This caused repeated overflow messages, and the drive never mounted. Is there
- a mount option such as rsize that I need to use because of different buffer
- sizes? Thanks for the help.
