- [Forgive me if this is a "newbie" question ... I am still relatively
- new to the Mac system management game.]
-
- We have a few Macintoshes connected to our ethernet. In the past they
- were only used for telneting into our main computers, so we did not
- need MacTCP.
-
- I now have some software (the Univ. of Utah's Mac-to-Unix backup
- software) which requires MacTCP. Unfortunately, I am not sure where
- to get a hold of this product. Is it sold commercially? Is it on the
- network disks? (If so, I haven't seen it) Can it be downloaded
- anonymously from some FTP site?
-
- I have looked through all the relevant Mac and ethernet board manuals,
- but have had no luck in finding out where to get MacTCP. I would
- appreciate it if someone in the know could send me email (i.e. don't
- post, please) with the answer enclosed. I will be happy to forward
- any email I receive to others with the same question.
-
- Thanks in advance for any help!
