  10. To me, one of the biggest problems with releasing system enhancements as
  11. extensions is, when you are trying to minimize extension conflicts, you
  12. have to turn off the Tuner, QuickTime, etc. as well as the troublesome
  13. extensions.

  15. What we need is a transparent way of designating QuickTime, Tuner, etc as
  16. 'System-level' extensions, so that when you press the Shift key, these
  17. stay in and the others are skipped.

  19. I hope to invite discussion of this, and to perhaps get Apple's attention.
