  12. This past weekend, several types of documents lost their association between
  13. creator and icon.  What's more, several applications lost their icons!  I
  14. rebuilt the desktops of all mounted partitions several times, to no effect.
  15. Booting with extensions turned off cleared up part of the problems, documents
  16. know their creators now.  But there are still several files without custom
  17. icons that used to have them and do have BNDLs present.

  19. This is on System 7.0.1 tuned-up and sounds vaguely familiar to a problem
  20. I recall reading several months ago.  Any ideas?  Oh, the hardware is a
  21. IIsi, 9meg, with 280meg of disk space total.
