- I've got a Mac connected to a TCP/IP network with a number of other Unix
- workstations on the same network. I'm looking for some Mac software that
- will enable me to "export" Mac files so that they can be "mounted" by Unix
- workstations on the network. Does "NFS" exist for the Mac platform? Also,
- I'd like to be able to print from a Unix workstation to the LaserWriter
- connected to my Mac. Does an lp daemon exist for the Mac that will
- "listen" for print requests from.
-
- I know MachTen and A/UX can do these things, but I don't need all the other
- bells and whistles. Just one bell (NFS), and one whistle (lpd)!
-
- Thanks,
- Bill Zwicky
