  23. Years ago a plus took two weeks. This was just before CHristmas in a
  24. special bundle.

  26. A few years later, an SE took nearly three months. This was ordered in
  27. November and came the next Feb. The claim was that the SE was new and
  28. was scarce.

  30. Two years ago I ordered an SE/30 with a personal lw/sc  The SE/30 was to
  31. have one floppiy drive, but no hard drive (I would add my own). The
  32. lw/sc came in two weeks, but they wouldn't let me have it until the
  33. SE/30 came. after two months they decided that Apple wasn't making any
  34. more without the HD, so I had to pay extra to get that. By then they had
  35. sold my LW/SC so I had to wait a week for another. What a mess. (BTW,
  36. these were all purchased through different schools).
