- Well, it depends. There is the Apple Laserwriter LS, i thinks it's under $1200.
- Quality isn't perfect, printing is SLOW. But it's a laser printer for less than
- $1200. Now if you want better quality, you need to check PostScript printers,
- they are more expensive because you need to pay the Adobe PostScript licence
- fees. The Texas instruments microlaser is a cheap PostScript printer (i think
- you can have one for < $1300 at Mac&More. The MircoTek seems to be a good, fast
- not so expensive printer, it uses a PostScript clone developped by MS (i think).
- And it's Appletalk compatible (don't know about the TI microlaser). You can
- check the Sept issue of MacUser, they have a nice revure of personal Laser
- printers.
