  16. This is a feature of the display technology.  It's why the Sys 7 install
  17. program changes the desktop pattern on the Powerbooks.

  19. For real fun, set the desktop pattern to alternate black and white lines --
  20. that is, a horizontal line of black pixels, a horizontal line of white
  21. pixels, a line of black pixels and so on.  Wow!
