  26. There is a comparison of the "Performance of the Mac Family" in the March
  27. 1992 MacUser, page 139.*  With their results, the SE/30 (monochrome) is
  28. about 3.6 times faster than a MacClassic, and a IIsi (8-bit mode) is only
  29. about 2.5 times faster than a Classic.  The IIsi (monochrome) results are
  30. slightly faster than the SE/30 at around 3.9 times faster than a Classic.

  32. Additionally, the IIcx (I assume w/ an 8-bit video card) is listed at 3.2,
  33. and the IIci (on-board 8-bit) is 3.1.  It is noted vigorously throughout
  34. that on-board video really slows down performance (I heard a third of the
  35. cycles went to managing the video?).
