- Hi. I'm planning on buying a Sony 1320 monitor from MacNews, a mailorder
- place. The price they quoted was $399 (that's $20 higher than their price in
- the ad, but supposedly that includes the adapter for an LC II), plus about $40
- for shipping, although "they can work out a deal for me on the shipping" (I'm
- in San Francisco, they're in Evanston). Since I'm new to this Mac mailorder
- stuff, can anyone tell me the following:
-
- 1) Is MacNews reputable? Has anyone had horrible experiences with them?
- 2) Do I really need an adapter for the LC II
- 3) Is $40 for shipping a monitor across 2/3 of the continent too outrageous?
-
- This novice would appreciate the benefit of the gurus' knowledge.
- Thanks,
