- How about a used Mac IIcx. Should be available for under $1000.

- Also, before purchasing a hot '486 for under $1000 make sure you are
- getting a complete system. Check for a decient monitor (many cheap
- PC monitors are fuzzy), System software, and a decient disk (many cheapo
- clones use very slow hard disks).
