  31. How about a used Mac IIcx.  Should be available for under $1000.

  33. Also, before purchasing a hot '486 for under $1000 make sure you are
  34. getting a complete system.  Check for a decient monitor (many cheap
  35. PC monitors are fuzzy), System software, and a decient disk (many cheapo
  36. clones use very slow hard disks).
