  14. I've had a similar problem with the sound not functioning on my Mac LC.  Seems
  15. the fan comes loose on occasion and quits working.  The fan and speaker 
  16. connect to the motherboard at the same location and by the same plastic structure.  You might check to see this is secure if you're using an LC.  Don't know
  17. if the IIsi is similar or not.  It's been a while since I've been in one of 
  18. those...
