  39. I have had a similar problem with our MacLC.  I accidentally discovered
  40. Erling's temporary remedy and used that with ... temporary success.

  42. Recently, I put in 2 X 4 Mb chips (replacing the 2 X 1 Mbs) and since
  43. then (1 month) the sound has yet to go out on me.  This doesn't make sense
  44. but I'm not worrying about it too much.

  46. So, do the rest of you have 10 Mb (only 8 with 24 bit, I know) in your
  47. Macs?  Maybe it all that dust removal that was really the solution? :-)
