- I have had a similar problem with our MacLC. I accidentally discovered
- Erling's temporary remedy and used that with ... temporary success.

- Recently, I put in 2 X 4 Mb chips (replacing the 2 X 1 Mbs) and since
- then (1 month) the sound has yet to go out on me. This doesn't make sense
- but I'm not worrying about it too much.

- So, do the rest of you have 10 Mb (only 8 with 24 bit, I know) in your
- Macs? Maybe it all that dust removal that was really the solution? :-)
