  20. I would get a Brainstorm accellerator for the Mac Plus. Mine cost me
  21. $200 installed. It is basically a 16Mhz 68000 that piggybacks on top
  22. of the existing CPU and one chip is replaced on the logic board. The
  23. logic board chip replacement lets the logic board run at 16Mhz like the 
  24. new processor.

  26. The upgraded Plus is just over twice as fast as a Mac Classic. You can
  27. use hard disks at a 1-1 interleave. Video is supposedly faster.

  29. Best of all, no inits or control panels are required as the software that
  30. runs the Brainstorm is downloaded into non-volatile memory on the 
  31. Brainstorm board by the Brainstorm installer.

  33. System 7 runs great on it. No incompatibilities as far as I can tell.
