- Hello. I recently acquired a SCSI expansion unit and 141 MB drive (originally
- for a Sun workstation) that I was able to successfully connect to my Mac
- SE last night. After guessing (correctly) how to change its SCSI address,
- a friend and I were able to partition and format the drive using LaCie's
- SilverLining software.
-
- However, in spite of our efforts to select the drive's partitions as
- "Mount at startup" (using the check boxes in the Silver Lining software),
- the external drive still isn't mounted at startup. I can manually
- mount the drive using Silver Lining (but not with SCSI Probe), but
- that's it.
-
- Configuration: Mac SE, 1 MB RAM, System 6.0.3 (accidentally hosed the
- internal disk, so I had to reinstall 6.0.3 because it's all
- I had -- will upgrae to 6.0.7 later today), 20 MB internal
- drive, the aforementioned Sun SCSI expansion unit.
-
- Thanks in advance for any advice.
