  10. Hello.  I recently acquired a SCSI expansion unit and 141 MB drive (originally
  11. for a Sun workstation) that I was able to successfully connect to my Mac
  12. SE last night.  After guessing (correctly) how to change its SCSI address,
  13. a friend and I were able to partition and format the drive using LaCie's
  14. SilverLining software.

  16. However, in spite of our efforts to select the drive's partitions as
  17. "Mount at startup" (using the check boxes in the Silver Lining software),
  18. the external drive still isn't mounted at startup.  I can manually
  19. mount the drive using Silver Lining (but not with SCSI Probe), but
  20. that's it.

  22. Configuration: Mac SE, 1 MB RAM, System 6.0.3 (accidentally hosed the
  23.                internal disk, so I had to reinstall 6.0.3 because it's all
  24.                I had -- will upgrae to 6.0.7 later today), 20 MB internal
  25.                drive, the aforementioned Sun SCSI expansion unit.
