  19. memory upgrades for the 512Ke is relatively cheap.  Dove offers a snap-on
  20. daughterboard that will give you 2mb.  MacRescue (in the back of any mac
  21. magazine) offers a simm adapter and you can add upto 6mb.  the prices for
  22. these add-ons are about $200 each.

  24. however, if you only have a 512k, you will also need a rom and disk drive
  25. upgrade, without either, your mac is still crippled.
