- And undoubtedly some people are still using such a setup, because it's what
- they have, it's what works, and they have no desire to move up--yet.
-
- But you take it to extremes. My point was, there's no need to rush out and
- upgrade to the latest and greatest just because. And many people feel that
- way. You'll find many people still running Sys6 and Word 4, and they'd give
- you a strange look when you ask them why they haven't upgraded to Sys7 and/or
- Word 5. Eventually they will decide that later software gives them something
- they need; but until then, upgrading would be done solely for the sake of
- doing so, and that generally is unproductive.
-
- Some people don't feel comfortable unless they're at the absolute bleeding
- edge of technology. That's fine. Some people, though, would rather wear
- their computer setup like an old shoe that fits just right. That's fine, too.
- Neither side should bother the other based on "you're not doing it _my_ way,
- therefore you're wrong."
