- I have an Apple video board with two 50-pin VRAM slots on it. The board
- right now puts out 8-bit color to a 13" monitor. Can this board be upgraded
- to 24-bit color by filling the slots with Quadra VRAM simms, and if so, what
- needs to be done to convince the board that it supports 24-bit? (I tried
- it, with Quadra 256k VRAM simms, and nothing happened. I was running System
- 7.0.1 on a IIcx with Mode32 and 20MB ram.)
-
- Thanks much!
